Baseball team puts two on All-SLIAC Team

May 12, 2008 - The Fontbonne University baseball team had two players recently receive all-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference accolades, junior Dan Horn was a First-Team All-Conference selection and senior Andrew Almany was a Second Team All-Conference selection.

Horn was one of the Griffins' top hitters posting a .415 batting average while driving in 30 RBI's. Horn, a cather, led the team in runs scored and was third in hits with 44. Almany, an outfielder, was second on the team in hits with 46 while posting a .404 batting average. He recorded 22 RBI's with 27 runs scored.

Fontbonne finished the season with a 15-19 overall record and a 10-13 SLIAC record.
