Feb. 5, 2008 - The Fontbonne University men's and women's basketball programs took part in the Coaches vs. Cancer drive this past weekend during their games against Blackburn College.

On Saturday (Feb. 2), Fontbonne raised more than $600 for the American Cancer Society. During the game, Fontbonne and Blackburn coaches wore sneakers to raise awareness for the Coaches vs. Cancer drive. Fontbonne cheerleaders collected money during the men and women's game. Since 1989, Fontbonne has now raised nearly $81,000 for the Coaches vs. Cancer campaign.
