Feb. 25, 2008 - The Fontbonne University men's basketball team scored a season-high in points Saturday (Feb. 23) as they defeated Lincoln Christian College 102-71. The victory improved the Griffins overall record to 18-6 and 11-4 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC).

Fontbonne guards Josh Branch and Patrick McCoy scored 25 points each to led the Griffins in scoring. Fontbonne forwards Justin Storandt and Brian Fogerty each had double-doubles as Storandt scored 10 points and pulled down 14 rebounds and Fogerty scored 15 points with 10 rebounds. Fontbonne shot 47 percent from the field and 54 percent from behind the arc.

Fontbonne returns to the court Tuesday night as they host Greenville College at 8:00 p.m. in the regular season finale. Fontbonne will compete in the SLIAC Post-Season Tournament on Thursday night against Westminster College at 6:00 p.m. at Webster University in the semi-final. The final is scheduled for Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
