April 22, 2008- Fontbonne University freshman Everett Jackson (University City, MO) turned in another head-turning performance last Friday (April 18) at the Rose-Hulman Twilight Track Meet in Terre Haute, Indiana. Fontbonne's emerging star ran a splendid "double", completing the metric mile in an outstanding time of 4:07 then after a 40 minute rest shocked a talented field of national quality runners with a blistering 1:56.6 800 meter run. With these performances, Jackson has become a serious threat to qualify for next month's Outdoor National Meet. He needs to only knock about three seconds of his current time to qualify for the meet. Jackson will have another shot this weekend as the team travels to Edwardsville, IL. for the SIUE Twilight Classic.
