Nov. 2, 2007 - Fontbonne University freshman Everett Jackson (University City HS, University City, MO) was recently honored as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Newcomer of the Year. Jackson was also named to the First Team All-Conference squad.

Freshman Zach Kassman (Northwest HS, Cedar Hill, MO) was also selected to the First Team All-Conference squad. Freshman Nathan Uding (Ste. Genevieve HS, Ste. Genevieve, MO) and senior Phil Yates (St. Dominic HS, St. Charles, MO) were named to the Second Team All-Conference squad.

For the women’s cross country team, freshman Rachel Hanson (Rossview HS, Clarksville, TN) and freshman Alex Weatherby (Soldan HS, St. Louis, MO) were both recognized by the SLIAC. Hanson was named Conference Runner of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and First Team All- Conference. Weatherby was named to the Second Team All-Conference squad.
