Women's field hockey comes to Fontbonne!

Nov.13,2007 - The Fontbonne University Athletic Department has announced it is adding an NCAA sanctioned women's field hockey program for the 2008-09 school year. Fontbonne will be the only NCAA Division III school in Missouri to offer a women's field hockey program.

Fontbonne has hired Monica Potter to serve as the women's field hockey head coach. Potter also serves as the University's Assistant Athletic Director and head women's lacrosse coach. Prior to Fontbonne, Coach Potter served as assistant lacrosse and field hockey coach at Lafayette High School and head lacrosse and field hockey coach at Lindenwood University.
