The Fontbonne University men’s soccer team remained undefeated in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) play with a 2-1 victory over archrivals Webster University on Saturday. Fontbonne improved to 6-3-4 overall and 5-0 in the SLIAC. Webster dropped to 6-5-1 and 3-2 in the SLIAC.

Fontbonne fell behind 1-0 10 minutes into the game but battled their way back into the contest midway through the first half. Griffin sophomore Kevin Vonarx scored his fourth goal of the season at the 30 minute mark and then Fontbonne senior Don Tebeau put the Griffins ahead for good in the 42 minute.

Fontbonne returns to the pitch on Thursday night as they host Westminster College at 5:30 p.m. at the Anheuser Busch Center in Fenton.
