Fontbonne University's Mike Utley, a sophomore from St. Louis, Mo. (Pattonville), has been named the SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 24-30.

Utley, a forward, scored three goals and added one assist for a total of seven points last week. He recorded the game-winning goals in a 1-0 victory versus Maryville University (Mo.) and a 5-0 victory versus MacMurray College, that helped his squad remain undefeated in conference play at 4-0. Utley now leads the Griffins on the season in goals (6) and points (13).
