Nov. 5, 2007 - The Fontbonne University men's soccer season came to an end this weekend after suffering a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to Principia College in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC)Post-Season Tournament Championship game. The Griffins ended the season with a 10-7-4 overall record and a 7-2 SLIAC record.

Principia scored the game's lone goal in the 28th minute and despite an assualt of opportunities in the second half, the Griffins couldn't find the equalizer. Fontbonne junior goalie Jess Jobe made five saves in the loss. Jobe along with sophomores Kevin Vonarx and Mike Utley were named to the All-Tournament Team.
