I-64 Traffic Impacts for the Week of September 29

Monday, September 29 UPDATED

From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of southbound McCausland Avenue will be closed between Berthold Avenue and I-64. The ramp from westbound I-64 to southbound McCausland will also be closed.
From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. one lane of northbound Kingshighway Boulevard will be closed at I-64.
From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of southbound Lindbergh Boulevard will be closed at I-64.
From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of westbound Eager Road will be closed between I-170 and Brentwood Boulevard.

Tuesday, September 30

From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of southbound McCausland Avenue will be closed between Berthold Avenue and I-64.
From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. one lane of northbound Kingshighway Boulevard will be closed at I-64.
From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of southbound Lindbergh Boulevard will be closed at I-64.

Wednesday, October 1

From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of southbound McCausland Avenue will be closed between Berthold Avenue and I-64.
From 11:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Brentwood Boulevard will have one lane closed in each direction at I-64.

Thursday, October 2

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of westbound I-64 will be closed at Kingshighway Boulevard.
From 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. one lane of southbound McCausland Avenue will be closed between Berthold Avenue and I-64.

Friday, October 3

From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of southbound McCausland Avenue will be closed between Berthold Avenue and I-64.

Saturday, October 4

No traffic restrictions are currently scheduled.

Travelers may also route their trips around any ramp, bridge or road closures by using the MoDOT "Map My Trip" tool at http://dist6.modot.mo.gov/mapmytrip/.

I-64 is CLOSED

In January 2008, all lanes of I-64/US40 closed in both directions between Ballas Road and I-170 and will remain closed the entire year. This means that:

At I-64 and I-270, all movements to and from north and southbound I-270 will remain open
Traveling east on I-64/US40, one lane will remain open to Ballas Road
You can access I-64/US40 westbound from Ballas Road
Traveling west on I-64/US40, one lane will be an exit only to Hanley Road and two lanes will be exit only to northbound I-170. You will not be able to exit at Brentwood Boulevard.
Traveling southbound I-170, one lane will be exit only to Eager Road and
two lanes will be exit only to eastbound I-64. You will not be able to
go westbound I-64 to Brentwood Boulevard.

Hampton Avenue Bridge Closed Sept 22 for Eight Months

The Hampton Avenue interchange at I-64 closed Monday, September 22 for eight months of reconstruction. This closure will include the eastbound and westbound entrance and exit ramps.

The Hampton Avenue bridge will reopen with one lane in each direction by Memorial Day of 2009, and will be fully reopened by the Fourth of July. While the bridge is being rebuilt drivers can access Forest Park from nine other entrances off Kingshighway Boulevard, Lindell Boulevard, Skinker Boulevard, and Tamm Avenue. Forest Park signs will be in place on Interstate 44 directing motorists to use Kingshighway, and on Interstate 70 directing motorists to Interstate 170 to Forest Park Parkway.
