The Fontbonne University men’s soccer team extended its win streak to four games last night with a 1-0 win over Maryville University. The Griffins got the game’s lone goal in the 60th minute when sophomore Mike Utley took a pass from sophomore Kevin Vonarx and placed it in the back of the net. Junior goalie Jess Jobe recorded six saves to earn his third shutout of the season. Fontbonne returns to the pitch on Saturday when they host MacMurray College in a SLIAC contest. The game will be held at Gay Field in Clayton beginning at 8:00 p.m.
