The Fontbonne University women’s soccer team went 2-0 over the weekend to improve to 3-1 on the season.

The Griffins beat Bethany Lutheran on Friday 6-1 then recorded a 1-0 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran on Sunday. Sophomore forward Shannon Behnen and junior forward Bridget Holmes lead the Griffins with 3 goals each. Fontbonne has outscored their opponents 11-3 on the season.

Junior goalie Angie Weber currently has posted two shutouts and has a .83 goals against average.

Fontbonne returns to the field on Thursday night as they host archrival Webster University at 6:00 p.m. at Gay Field.
