Love is the Word

The Kinkel Center and the Library celebrated the Feast of St. Valentine by creating Valentine cards and mementos while enjoying Valentine treats!

The Kinkel Center staff will provided variously-colored paper, stickers, lacy doilies, and most importantly all types of loving words for you to create Valentines for the people you love just in time for Valentine's Day.

National Day on Writing

“It was a dark and stormy night on the Fontbonne campus,” proclaims the first line of the community story created by sixty-five students, staff, and faculty on Thursday, October 18, in the Jack Taylor Library. The Kinkel Center staff celebrated National Day on Writing by inviting students, faculty, and staff to write a sentence to create a spooktacular story! Participants also entered a drawing for a $25.00 St. Louis Bread Co. gift card, received sweet treats, and were awarded a sticker announcing “I wrote today.” Fontbonne student Londa Young is the lucky winner of the gift card.
