Admission Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited, degree-granting college
or university with a minimum grade point average of 2.75 on a 4-point
scale. Official transcripts must be received from the degree-granting
institution.
- A GMAT score of 475 or higher.
- A completed application form and $25 application fee
- Two letters of recommedation from professional references
qualified to judge the applicant's expertise, character and capacity
for graduate-level study.
- A self-statement of approximately 200-300 words describing
your background, successes, and reasons for pursuing an MSA from
Fontbonne University.
- Applicants whose native language is not English must pass the
TOEFL or a Fontbonne-authorized equivalent test with a score of 550.
* GPA or GMAT score less than required minimum may be considered
for admittance on cconditional basis after review of your academic file
and an interview with the business administration department.
Preparatory Core Requirements
All preparatory core requirements listed below must be satisfied
with a grade C- or higher before the student can enroll in the MSA.
Based upon an evaluation of undergraduate transcripts, students may
place out of preparatory courses with an appropriate three credit-hour
course in the following content areas:
- Financial Accounting
- Managerial Accounting
- Business Finance
- Business Law
- Introduction to Statistics
- Information Systems
- Macroeconomics
Graduate Transfer Credit
A maximum of six credit hours of previous graduate work may be transfered into the MSA program. Such transfer credit must:
- be equivalent to a specific course in the MSA curriculum
- be a letter grade of B or A
- have been earned at an accredited, degree-granting institution of higher education
- have been completed within the last six years
