The Master of Arts in Education: The Teaching of Writing across the Curriculum addresses a need to provide teachers an avenue for further professional growth. Evidence supports the teaching of writing as a major component in the development of higher order thinking skills and the overall growth of the student in a manner consistent with constructivist practice. The program builds upon the work begun in nationally recognized writing institutes, continuing to the completion of a full master’s degree through online coursework.
