Your chance Do you want to become a teacher? Do you already have an undergraduate degree? If "yes" is the answer to both those questions, here's your opportunity to earn your master's degree AND fulfill your goal to become an excellent educator. Many avenues Our master of arts in teaching degree allows you to work toward a graduate degree, while completing coursework leading to teacher certification. You'll have options of pursuing middle school or high school certification in social studies, English, science, or mathematics. Certification for elementary education (1-6) and special education (K-12) is also available. Our programs are approved through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
