  • Website focuses on intelligence work, and country information, including maps, flags and time zones.

  • This wiki site provides links to publically-accessible databases for all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

  • This EBSCO database contains latest insight on topics relevant to entrepreneurship and small businesses, providing full-text for over 125 key periodicals, reference books, case studies, company profiles and over 600 videos with transcripts and related articles from the Harvard Faculty Seminar Series and Vator.TV, one of the world's largest social network sites for high-tech entrepreneurs.

JSTOR (Arts & Science I-IV)

  • This archival database contains the full-text of scholarly journals from volume 1, issue 1 of each title along with previous and related titles. The most recently published issues (past 3-5 years) are generally not available; however, current issues for 150 journals are included.

  • This database provides the electronic editions of local, regional, and national U.S. newspapers as well as full-text content of key international sources, news magazines, special reports, and world maps. Paid ads are excluded.
  • Subjects cover local and regional news, including companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and people in the community, as well a variety of viewpoints on local and world issues.

 WGSN (Worth Global Style Network)

  • Global marketing and trends website from the United Kingdom. While the focus is the fashion industry, this site provides good information on worldwide trends in general.

  • This electronic directory listing of United States and international businesses provides contact and demographic information on over 14 million companies.

Business Data from U.S. Census Bureau

  • Economic indicators by geography, sector, and survey, slide shows from recent seminars, and other economic programs.
  • Special topics include business expenses, capital expenditures, e-commerce, women & minorities, among others.

Missouri Census Data

  • This website provides access to Missouri census data including county maps, trend reports and historical populations.

Statistical Abstracts (online)

  • This site is the authoritative summary of statistics on the social, political, & economic organization of the United States. Data is provided by the Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, & numerous other federal & private organizations.

  • Subjects: Global issues – famine, globalization, world trade, global warming, etc. – in sociology, current events, civics, politics, science, economics, cultural/religious studies, women’s studies, human rights.

  • Web-portal to a wealth of information, insights, and learning resources on global business activities.

Business & Human Rights Resource Center

  • This organization tracks the "positive and negative impacts of over 4,000 companies worldwide". Visitors can search by company, issue, country.
  • Subjects: Abuses, poverty, discrimination, health, child labour, investments, trade, globalization, and security.

BSD Global

  • Supported by the Canadian government, includes current issues, strategies and tools, markets, training opportunities and sector focuses.
  • Subject: Sustainability

Supply Chain Council

  • Organization website provides downloadable resources and tools focusing on supply chain processes. Members may access SCOR frameworks, benchmarking, training, certification, research and networking.
