Where am I?
Reference & Learning Commons Librarian / Associate Professor
My main role in the Library is to assist students and faculty with Library resources, I am also responsible for managing the Library's Information Commons (computer lab), maintaining Fontbonne's periodical subscriptions, and updating the Library web page. I am the Library's liaison to the Eckelkamp College of Global Business & Professional Studies and the Biological & Physicals Sciences department. Additionally, I serve on several University and statewide committees and am currently Past President of Fontbonne's chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.
I hold a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a Bachelors Degree (BA) from St. Louis University.
Before coming to Fontbonne in 2004, I was a software trainer for a major Library software vendor and traveled the country extensively. Prior to obtaining my library degree, I worked as an Executive Assistant in numerous industries, including electrical construction, interior design, and wireless communications.
Away from Fontbonne, I enjoy traveling (Alaska is my favorite place so far!), doing genealogical research, and spending time with my family.
