Reference & Electronic Resources Librarian / Associate Professor
In addition to helping students and faculty utilize Library resources, I am also responsible for securing and maintaining access to electronic resources (databases), managing Fontbonne's periodical subscriptions, and updating the Library web page. Additionally, I serve on several University and statewide committees. I am currently President of Fontbonne's chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.
I hold a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a Bachelors Degree (BA) from St. Louis University.
Before coming to Fontbonne in 2004, I was a software trainer for a major Library software vendor and traveled the country extensively. Prior to obtaining my library degree, I worked as an Executive Assistant in numerous industries including electrical construction, interior design and wireless communications.
Away from Fontbonne, I enjoy traveling (Alaska is my favorite place so far!), doing genealogical research, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.
