Bachelor of Science in Sports & Entertainment Management
The OPTIONS Bachelor of Science in Sports & Entertainment Management is an innovative business degree program. The dual focus offers opportunity for greater exposure to both exciting, high-growth industries which share many areas of common ground. Wide-ranging topics are viewed from a business and management perspective with particular emphasis on industry-specific issues, topics, and insight. This degree provides a broad-based business foundation in sports and entertainment management and develops critical thinking, communication, and managerial skills which are highly transferable to any industry.
The courses in the B.S. in Sports & Entertainment Management constitute the student's business major. Completion of this major fulfills approximately one-third of the 128 credits required for graduation. All courses listed below are 3 credits / 8 weeks.
Concentrations for this major will be available Fall 2011 in management, finance and marketing.

Admission requirements:
- Official transcripts must be received from each institution.
- Completion of Composition I and II (grade of C- or better).
- Successful completion of INT199 (or an equivalent college level course in research tools).
- Overall cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4-point scale. (For students with fewer than 15 transfer college credits an official high school transcript is required with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or minimum GED score of 2350.)
- Minimum age of 23 years.
- Minimum two years of significant, full-time work experience.
- Two letters of recommendation from professional references.
- Applicants whose native language is not English must pass the TOEFL with a score of 173 CBT / 61 IBT / 5.0 IELTS or a Fontbonne-authorized equivalent test.
