Master of Science in Accounting
The Fontbonne OPTIONS M.S. in Accounting meets the needs of adults who want to enter the growing job market of accounting, especially those with a non-accounting business degree interested in becoming a private accountant or certified public accountant. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2008-09 Occupational Outlook Handbook sites strong growth in job opportunities in the accounting field through 2016, with faster-than-average employment anticipated.
The master's in Accounting is offered in a dual-track Saturday format with courses on Saturday mornings and afternoons. The 33 credit-hour program can be completed in as little as 14 months.

Eight prerequisite courses must be completed prior to enrolling in this program.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- An application accompanied by a non-refundable $25 application fee payable to Fontbonne University.
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited, degree-granting college or university. Official transcript must be received from the degree-granting institution.
- Overall grade point average of 2.75 on a 4-point scale.*
- GMAT score of 475 or higher.
- Resume reflecting a minimum of three (3) years of significant, full-time work experience.
- Two letters of recommendation from professional references.
- A 200 to 300 word self-statement describing your background, successes, and reasons for pursuing your graduate degree from Fontbonne.
- Applicants whose native language is not English must pass the TOEFL with a score of 197 CBT / 71 IBT / 5.5 IELTS or a Fontbonne-authorized equivalent test.
