The Kinkel Center has nine computers available to students for general use. These computers have software packages such as Microsoft Office XP, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer, and Windows Media Player, and all computers have USB cables for attaching flash drives. The Center has specialized software for use by students, including Food Processor, Kurzweil Reader 3000 with a scanner, JAWS for Windows, and TextHELP. The Center has a scanner that can save text and images in a variety of formats, as well as CD-Rom instruction in ASL Sign Language, Delta's Key to the TOEFL Test, PsykTrek 2.0, Rapid Reading, A.D.A.M. for Medical Students, American Pagent, Brainaic, and GRE Preparation. The Starry Night CD may be checked out from the Library downstairs and used in the Center's Computers, as can CDs for other academic programs.
