September 15-17: Days of Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) in St. Louis
BHAAAS Annual Meeting
The Bosnia Memory Project at Fontbonne University is honored to co-host the annual meeting of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), September 15-17. This meeting is divided into two parts.
Part I, a series of mentoring programs for young Bosnians, will be held at Mehlville High School on Thursday, September 15, and Friday, September 16.
Part II, the Annual Academy Meeting, will be held at Fontbonne University on Saturday, September 17.
All events on the schedule below are free and open to the public.

Location: Lewis Auditorium, lower level of the Fontbonne Library
Please excuse the condition of the auditorium, which is undergoing renovation.
- The film features Academy members Dr. Esad Boskailo, psychiatrist, and Mugdim Karabeg, renowned Bosnian journalist, who provide chilling testimony as two survivors of the Dretelj concentration camp. They shed light on the resilience of the victims, the psychology of the perpetrators, and the human imperative to resist mass madness and cruelty. Directed by Timur Boskailo.
