Social Work
Fontbonne University’s department of social work, new in 2010, offers a variety of avenues for students to earn a degree in the field. The university’s new bachelor’s in social work (BSW) was developed using the very latest methods, theory and information available. Our partnerships with the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University and the Bridge Program with the St. Louis University School of Social Work offer students the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree from Fontbonne and a master’s degree in social work with only one additional year of study. Or, students may choose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in human services, one of the top 10 fastest growing disciplines in the nation. Fontbonne also offers a minor in human services.
