Our Art (BA) and Fine Arts (BFA) degrees help you master the fundamentals of visual communication and various media tools. And, our faculty teaches in the academy-style, which is a studio-based system of instruction that emphasizes working from direct observation and offers the technical foundations of an artist’s training.

We also offer a Performing Arts (BA) which features a carefully designed course grouping to provide a rich and broad background in the performing arts that puts you on center stage. You’ll get to learn all aspects of “putting on the show” – from acting and directing to building sets and stage-managing - the spotlight is always on you!

Master's Degrees

Perhaps you're ready to explore graduate degrees? Fontbonne's Theatre Education (MA) is the only masters program available in the St. Louis area that allows you to create a flexible program combining studies in theatre and education.

We also offer Art (MA) and Fine Arts (MFA) programs, which provide a teaching, learning and research environment that enables you to become professionally and intellectually effective as an artist.
