What motivates you to put pen to paper or, more likely, fingers to keyboard? Communication. And it’s at the heart of nearly everything we do. Fontbonne University is giving you a chance to showcase your writing skills in consideration for an English talent scholarship. This open house is for high school or transfer students, or for anyone thinking about continuing their college education — whether you’ve applied to Fontbonne already or not. Highlights:- Submit 3–4 various samples of your writing to bmoore@fontbonne.edu by Mar. 15. The samples can be new or something you’ve previously written and on any subject. Submit no more than 12 pages total.
- Our excellent cadre of faculty members will review your samples and, on the day of the open house, you’ll meet individually with one of our professors to discuss your work.
- Participants in this special open house will be considered for an English talent scholarship.
- If you’re already accepted to Fontbonne, this is also a great chance to take part in early registration for classes!
