Where am I?
Want to know what Financial Aid is all about? Then you’ve come to the right place!
It all starts with the FAFSA:
Free Application (for) Federal Student Aid
Think of the FAFSA as the gateway to student aid. Completing your FAFSA will open the doors to receiving institutional aid, state and federal grants, student loans, and Parent PLUS loans. While it is free, this door doesn’t stay open forever—the priority deadline is March 15. That means you’ll have the best chance of maximizing your financial aid package if your FAFSA is processed prior to that deadline.
If you will be attending Fontbonne in the 2013-14 school year (Summer 2013, Fall 2013, and/or Spring 2014) and wish to receive financial aid, you should complete a 2013-14 FAFSA.
To file the FAFSA, the easiest, quickest way is by going online to www.fafsa.gov. Like every door, you’ll need the right “key” to get in—and for Fontbonne, that key is 002464 (our Federal school code). Keep this number handy; without you adding it to your FAFSA, Fontbonne will not be able to see the information you submitted.
If you need assistance completing the FAFSA, call the helpline at 1-800-433-3243, Monday through Friday 8:00am – 11:59pm, Eastern time (they are closed on holidays).
