Advice for prospective OPTIONS students: “It is the best decision you will ever make to get your degree. As you move through the program, you will feel your whole world opening up around you. Until you actually sign up, it is difficult to envision the options your degree can bring to you. So just do it!”

Background: Pat attended her freshman year as an undergraduate at Fontbonne and lived on campus in St. Joseph’s Hall.
Advice for prospective OPTIONS Students: “Fontbonne has always been a great place for me to learn and grow. My advice is to make a habit of setting aside time to study, turn off BET, MTV, the news, Lifetime movies or sports for a few hours, and devote that time to study. It is hard work, but there is a reward for the effort you put into your education.”

Advice for Prospective OPTIONS Students: “Every person has it in them to do this and you can’t let self doubts and ‘what ifs’ stop you. Sure, it’s hard taking on another commitment, but after the first few months it becomes a part of your day-to-day life.”

Thoughts for Prospective OPTIONS Students: “Fontbonne took the program seriously — it wasn’t a cakewalk. For 18 months, I was holed up in the house, writing and researching. But the best part about the experience was the people I spent time with — I learned a lot from them. I still keep in touch with my fellow students.”

Thoughts about OPTIONS: “I knew a master’s would help me fulfill more qualifications to seek better jobs and advance my career. And the organizational studies degree confirmed that I wanted to be involved with HR and management. Because of my wonderful experience with undergrad, it just made sense to continue with Fontbonne’s master’s of management.”
