Team History: The cheerleading squad performs at all men’s home basketball games as well as a few away basketball games. The squad is open to men and women and typically holds tryouts in the spring. In addition to performing at basketball games, the cheerleading squad also actively supports other sports at Fontbonne. For more information regarding the cheerleading squad, call 314-889-1444. The Griffins Girls is a dance team that performs at halftime of all men’s home basketball games as well as at other university events and some off-campus functions. In the past, the Griffin Girls have performed at Busch Stadium before a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game.
