Team History:

The men’s basketball team has been competing in the SLIAC since the 1989-1990 season and has won more games (164) than any other school in the conference. In addition to being one of the most successful basketball programs in the SLIAC, Fontbonne has also raised more than $80,000 for “Coaches vs. Cancer” and more than $8,000 for St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The team plays in the Dunham Student Activity Center on the Fontbonne campus.

Highlights include:

• SLIAC Championships in 1993-94 and 1994-95.
• SLIAC Tournament Championships in 1994, 1996 and 2007
• Made appearances in the NCAA Div. III Tournament in 1996 and 2007.
• In recent years, the men’s basketball team has traveled to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Anaheim, Tampa, and Chicago.
• In August 2007, the team traveled to Europe to compete in Belgium, Netherlands and Germany.
• More than 40 SLIAC All-Conference selections since 1990.
