Team History:
New in 2006-07 are NCAA-sponsored men’s and women’s lacrosse teams. Fontbonne will be one of the first schools in the Midwest to offer NCAA Division III lacrosse programs. The teams play (and practice) at newly renovated Gay Field in Clayton which features a new synthetic field turf measuring 120 x 85, bleachers capable of seating 1,200 spectators, a press box, new rubberized track and other facilities. The teams’ schedules will include Division III opponents from around the country. The university is currently recruiting men and women lacrosse players.
