Men's Soccer

Team History:

The men’s soccer program has been competing in the SLIAC since 1991 and has won more conference championships (four) than any other school in the conference. The men’s soccer team has made four trips to the NCAA Division III National Soccer Tournament and has been nationally ranked on several occasions. The team plays at newly renovated Gay Field in Clayton, which features a new synthetic field turf measuring 120 x 85, bleachers capable of seating 1,200 spectators, a press box, new rubberized track and other facilities.

Highlights include:

SLIAC Conference Championships in 1991,1992, 2003 and 2004.
Four SLIAC Tournament Championships (1991, 1992, 2004 and 2006).
Five trips to the NCAA Division III National Soccer Tournament (1991, 1992, 2003, 2004 and 2006).
SLIAC record for most league/tournament wins in a season by finishing 16-0 in 2004.
In recent years, the men’s soccer team has traveled to San Francisco, San Diego, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago and Colorado Springs.
Since 1990, Fontbonne has had more than 65 SLIAC All-Conference selections.
