The 2007 season will be Brian Hoener's 8th season at the helm for Fontbonne.During his tenure, Fontbonne has won two SLIAC Conference Championships, two SLIAC Tournament Championships and made three appearances in the NCAA Div. III National Tournament. He has helped guide the Griffins' to a 77-45-13 record during his seven years. Coach Hoener was named the SLIAC Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2004.

Coach Hoener is a graduate of Fontbonne University and played two seasons with the Griffins. He attended Lewis & Clark Community College prior to transferring to Fontbonne. He graduated and played high school soccer at McCluer North High School.Coach Hoener also serves as Fontbonne’s Sports Information Director, DSAC Building Director, Wellness Director and Student-Athlete Advisory Board faculty advisor.
