Lance Thornhill is returning for his 10th year as head golf coach and assistant men’s basketball coach at Fontbonne University. He is a graduate of Pattonville High School in St. Louis County where he played both basketball and golf. At Southwest Missouri State University, CoachThornhill played both sports until and injury forced him off the court. He continued to excel on the golf course, lettering for three years and twice named All-Conference.

During his tenure year, Coach Thornhill has led the Griffins to three SLIAC Championships. He was voted the SLIAC Coach of the Year 2002, 2004 and 2006.
