Team History:

ATH_Soccer_Women1: fontbonne university women's soccer

Since establishment in 1994, the women’s soccer program has compiled a 65-53-5 record. Fontbonne won the SLIAC Tournament Championship in 1996 with a 5-1 conference record and 15-3-3 overall record. Since 2000, women’s soccer hasn’t finished below fourth place in the conference standings. The team plays at newly renovated Gay Field in Clayton, which features a new synthetic field turf measuring 120 x 85, bleachers capable of seating 1,200 spectators, a press box, new rubberized track and other facilities.

Highlights include:

  • Qualifying for the 2004 SLIAC Post-Season Tournament.
  • In recent years, the team has traveled to San Diego and Iowa.
  • More than 35 All-Conference selections since 1995.
