Season Preview

Sept. 1, 2009 - The Fontbonne University women's soccer team returns five of their top six offensive players from last year's team. The Griffins finished with an overall record of 10-9-1 and a SLIAC record of 5-3 last season. Fontbonne finished in fourth place in the SLIAC and qualified for the SLIAC Post-Season Tournament. The Griffins lost to #1 seed Principia College in that tournament.

Highlights include:

• Qualifying for the 2004 and 2008 SLIAC Post-Season Tournament.
• In recent years, the team has traveled to San Diego, New York, Florida and Iowa.
• More than 35 All-Conference selections since 1995.
