Fontbonne University offers 16 varsity sports and participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. Our athletic teams compete in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC), and since 1990, have won more than 30 SLIAC Championships. The Griffins also have advanced to compete in more than 17 NCAA National Tournaments. Fontbonne also offers four athletic club programs; cheerleading, a dance squad, men's bowling and men's volleyball.
Success achieved in sports is also stressed in the classroom. Our student-athletes hold some of the highest GPAs in the school and academics are stressed as the priority at Fontbonne. We believe athletics and academics compliment one another and help develop well-rounded young adults.
