ST. LOUIS - The
Fontbonne University/KMOX Book Club welcomes Bill Bradley, former U.S. Senator
and author of “We Can All Do Better,” at its next book club event. The event
will take place Friday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the 16th
floor of the Gateway Tower Building, One South Memorial Drive.
Faculty athlete representatives at each school in the SLIAC conference nominate an athlete each year for the honor. The nominees then complete an application packet, and the SLIAC Administrative Council votes on one male and one female representative.
Children from throughout St. Louis will “travel” to all seven continents, and learn about different cultures, healthy eating and physical fitness — all from the campus of Fontbonne University.
Fontbonne University welcomed Taiwanese calligrapher and painter Chu Chen-nan this month for a 70-piece exhibition of his work. “A Reminiscent Return” is on display in Fontbonne University’s Medaille Hall through April 30.
