Classes begin this week at a new Fenton location established by Fontbonne University. The new classrooms are located at the St. Louis College of Health Careers, 1297 N. Highway Drive, near I-44 and Bowles Avenue.
Fontbonne University has held a long-standing presence in the area with an on-site location at the Chrysler plant in Fenton, where employees have enjoyed the opportunity to take undergraduate and graduate degree coursework offered by Fontbonne for the last 20 years. The establishment of the new location was prompted by recent downsizing at Chrysler and the University’s recognition of continual growth in Fenton and the surrounding areas.
“We want to ensure that our current students from Chrysler have a convenient location at which to continue their coursework,” says Greg Taylor, Executive Vice President for Strategy and Operations at Fontbonne University. “In addition, we recognize that it is time for Fontbonne to branch out and make our degree programs easily accessible to the other working adults living and working in this growing community.”
The Fenton location will offer day and evening BSBA and MBA courses in an accelerated eight-week format. The OPTIONS evening adult programs will offer the BA in Organizational Studies, Master of Management, and Gateway curriculum beginning in November.
With its main campus located in Clayton, the university has also established OPTIONS classroom sites in North County, South County, Chesterfield and downtown St. Louis.
Fontbonne University has been a provider of high-quality educational programs for more than 80 years.
