ST. LOUIS - Ridley Pearson, an award-winning thriller writer, will discuss his new crime novel, "Killer Summer," during the August Fontbonne University/KMOX Book Club. The book club will take place Friday, Aug. 28., at the Missouri Athletic Club, 405 Washington Ave. in downtown St. Louis. The radio broadcast will air from 9 - 11 a.m., and Pearson will discuss his book from 10 - 11 a.m.

Pearson is the first American recipient of the Raymond Chandler/Fulbright Fellowship in detective fiction at Oxford University. He is the author of over 20 novels, as well as television scripts and documentaries. In addition to adult fiction, he also coauthors young reader novels with Dave Barry, author and humorist. "Killer Summer" is the third book in a crime series.
