Mustard Seed Theatre Presents “Fires in the Mirror”
“Fires in the Mirror,” written by Anna Deavere Smith and directed by Lori Adams, explores the anger, anguish, passion and reflections of people involved in the Crown Heights riots in 1991. Two actresses play multiple roles, all based on interviews by the author. Their experiences highlight the politics of identity and the deep roots of racism. Join us after the show for reflection and discussion of the vital issues exposed by the play.
