Paul Sheldon world famous author of the "Misery Chastine" romance
novels, is crippled in a car wreck, only to be rescued by Annie Wilkes,
his number one fan. When Annie reads his new novel in which her beloved
Misery is killed during childbirth, Paul discovers she isn't the angel
of mercy she first appeared to be. Paul begins to realize that he has
entered a new kind of hell beyond anything he might have created for his
fictional heroine.
The cast for Misery includes Emily Immer and Craig Hinders and is directed by Valleri Dillard.
Misery
performances are September 30-October 3 at 8:00 PM Thursday-Saturday,
and 2:00 PM Sunday at the Fontbonne University Black Box Theatre in the
Fine Arts Building at 6800 Wydown Blvd. in Clayton. Admission is $5 for
