Author Michelle Latiolais to Speak at Fontbonne

SAINT LOUIS – Michelle Latiolais, author of “Widow,” a book of short stories named a New York Times Editor’s Choice, will speak at Fontbonne University, Monday, April 11. She will lecture at noon and perform a reading at 7 p.m., both events taking place in the Lewis Room of the Taylor Library. These events are free and open to the public. **

Latiolais, the author of two previous novels, “Even Now” and “A Proper Knowledge,” is an English professor and co-director of the Programs in Writing at the University of California at Irvine.

The Writer’s Reading Series is presented through the generous support of the Fontbonne Community Connection.

**Parking is available on any lot on Fontbonne’s Clayton campus, 6800 Wydown Blvd. Two hour parking is available on Wydown Blvd. to the north of the Taylor Library. Alternative parking can be found at the former CBC high school on Clayton Rd. with a shuttle running every 15 minutes to and from Fontbonne University.
