Blasting Off!
Fontbonne University alumna and third grade teacher Christine Ruder was chosen by NASA as one of 150 people to attend a tweet-up at the Atlantis shuttle launch, Friday, July 8. She tweeted her way through this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at @jhox1, and she even set up a blog to tell her students about her adventure.
Locally, her story was covered by media in St. Louis.
