Colonel William (Bill) Pogue flew more than 50 types and models of American, British and Czech aircraft during his 25-year military career. He served on the support crews for Apollos 7, 11 and 14, and his 84-day space flight aboard the Skylab space station set eight endurance and distance records. “But for the Grace of God” is Pogue’s autobiography.
Eric Greitens, a Missouri native, is a Rhodes and Truman Scholar, a dedicated humanitarian, and a United States Navy SEAL who was deployed four times during the Global War on Terrorism. He has authored two books, “Strength and Compassion,” an award-winning collection of photographs and essays, and “The Heart and the Fist,” his own personal story.
