Fontbonne Athlete to Represent SLIAC Conference on Advisory Committee

ST. LOUIS - Fontbonne University junior and men’s basketball guard, Daniel Lisch, has been selected to represent the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Ohio Athletic Conference on the NCAA Division-III National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

“We are proud of Daniel for stepping up to serve as a voice for not only the student athletes of the SLIAC and the Ohio Athletic Conference, but for providing a voice for all Division-III student athletes,” said Maria Eftink, Fontbonne athletic director. “I am confident he will do a wonderful job representing his peers.”

The SAAC is made up of 24 student athletes who provide insight on the rules, regulations and policies of the division. The committee also works to enhance the athlete experience through promoting opportunities available to student athletes, fostering a positive student athlete image and more.

“Dan will be a tremendous representative for SLIAC,” said William J. Wolper, SLIAC commissioner. “I look forward to working with him in his role as our National SAAC representative as he serves as the national voice for our student athletes.”
