Aircraft and Bestselling Author Ridley Pearson Featured at the Fontbonne/KMOX July Book Club
ST. LOUIS - The Fontbonne University/KMOX Book Club welcomes New York Times bestselling author and St. Louis resident Ridley Pearson, at its next book club event — a special opportunity that will also appeal to aircraft enthusiasts. Pearson will discuss his newest novel, “The Risk Agent” Tuesday, July 3 from 10-11 a.m. at The St. Louis Downtown Airport, 6100 Archview Dr., Cahokia, Ill. But, the airport is also the staging area for the Fair St. Louis airshow, and guests are invited to come early at 9 a.m. to see a variety of aircraft take off, land and possibly practice their air show routines, as well as sit in on live airshow interviews with KMOX host Charlie Brennan.

Ridley Pearson is the author of more than 40 novels including the bestselling Lou Boldt crime series. Pearson lives in Town & Country, Mo., but most recently spent a year in Shanghai, where his newest novel, “The Risk Agent,” takes place. While working for a large American company with operations in Shanghai, “Edward” Lu Hao goes missing along with his security guard and his bookkeeping filled with bribes. John Knox, an import/export entrepreneur with connections to the company and forensic accountant Grace Chu, who helped Hao get his job, are hired to find the men and the money before it’s too late.
