Congratulations
to the Fontbonne University men’s and women’s soccer teams who are both
advancing to the semi-final conference tournament. The women finished with a
record of 7-1, and this is the first time in program history that they have
been regular season St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champions.
The women’s team will host the semi-final conference match against Webster
University Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 1:30 p.m. at Centene Stadium, 305 Gay Ave. in
Clayton, Mo.
The men's team will play against Webster, as well, on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Fenton Soccer Park, 1 Soccer Park Rd. in Fenton, Mo.
The university will cover admission cost for all those students who present valid Fontbonne IDs, so be sure to go support your Griffin soccer teams on Wednesday and Thursday!
