ST. LOUIS – Fontbonne University recently announced that Debbie Daly Meyer is the school’s new director of major gifts.
Meyer was previously the director of development at Epworth Children & Family Services where she headed up the highest grossing fundraising event in Epworth’s history as well as consistently surpassed annual individual fundraising goals.
“I am excited to bring Debbie onboard as part of our team,” said Randy Loechner, Fontbonne’s interim vice president of advancement.“Debbie has a wealth of knowledge in the fundraising arena, and I know she will be a strong asset in working with our benefactors to further our educational mission.”
Meyer, who resides in Webster Groves sees her role as creating strong relations with those who share the Fontbonne vision.
“Fontbonne does such an exceptional job educating tomorrow’s leaders, and I’m excited to be a part of that,” Meyer said. “I know that alumni and other community members see the value of Fontbonne’s role and will continue to support our important mission.”
Fontbonne University is a Catholic coeducational institution of higher education offering liberal arts and professional programs, as well as evening and online formats for busy adults. Fontbonne was founded in 1923 and is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.
