"Falling" Returns to Fontbonne

Originally produced by Mustard Seed Theatre in 2011, "Falling," a play about a family struggling with an adult son with severe autism, returns to the Mustard Seed stage with most of its original cast. "Falling" opens in Fontbonne's Black Box Theater Friday, April 11, and runs through Sunday, May 4.

In less than three years, the play, written by Fontbonne Professor Deanna Jent, has been produced Off-Broadway in New York City, as well as in Los Angeles and the Meadow Brook Playhouse in Michigan. It has been published by Dramatists Play Service Inc., nominated for the prestigious Drama Desk Award for Best New Play in New York and is being translated into Portuguese for production in Brazil in 2015.

Based on Jent's life, this story explores how to love someone that is hard to love.
