Youth In Need is a non-profit social service agency that serves nearly 20,000 children and their families annually in the St. Louis region and surrounding areas. We are looking for individuals with an enthusiasm for fashion and retail as interns in our resale boutique, Potentials.

Believing in the power of potential, Youth In Need’s mission is to provide nurturing environments and educational opportunities so children youth and families will find safety and hope, achieve their goals, and build a positive future.

Candidates should be highly motivated, self-starters, be able to multi-task, work in a creative environment and be mission driven. The candidates should also have knowledge of fashion trends, clothing brands, designers and be passionate about the resale industry.

As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Fashion/Retail Intern

*Work with ladies and mens clothing, home decor and furniture

*Create floor sets and effective merchandise displays

*Create visually appealing window displays

*Process intake of inventory

*Gain hands-on experience by selling to and serving customers

*Develop and promote store sales and events

Internships at Youth In Need take you beyond the classroom and invite students to actively participate in the daily operations of our resale boutique.
