Mortgage Assistance Point Representative

Manages the communication between the mortgagor and the lender (specifically loss mitigation and foreclosure departments) by providing a contact point for the borrower to submit inquiries and request resolutions. Studies and abides by all regulatory and compliance requirements. Monitors and resolves situations regarding modification and foreclosure processes. Requires a solid customer service background with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and effective communication skills (both written and verbal). Applicant must be results oriented with a strong sense of urgency. Must be highly organized and have the ability to resolve conflict and maintain professionalism in a high stress environment. Position will require the use of multiple software programs, computer literacy is necessary.

This is an entry level position in a call center environment. Our training program is approximately four weeks long and begins with a Mortgage Banking Basics session, so mortgage experience is not required. A Mortgage Banking Basics assessment will be given at the end of that portion of the training – generally one week. The candidate must pass the assessment to continue with us. It is necessary to attend every day of training.

This position provides a good "foot in the door" with an opportunity to grow with U.S. Bank. The department has locations in Earth City and Downtown St. Louis. All current openings are in Downtown St. Louis. Hours for the department range from 7 a.m. through 8 p.m., currently we are looking to fill 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 11 a.m- 8 p.m. shifts.
